River fishing post

This is the San Miguel river in Colorado where we went fishing this last summer.  Over the period of 2 fishing trips we caught about 30 or so trout.  Eating trout is better than an accidental jibe although choking on the bones is worse.  Falling in the river may or may not be better than an accidental jibe it just depends on the temperature of the water, the size of the river, the strength of the current and how well you can swim.  I am a good swimmer but this river was very cold being in the mountains of Colorado therefore I don't know if I would have preferred the accidental jibe or not.  I definitely preferred fishing in this river to an accidental jibe and would go back anytime.  The mountains are beautiful and it was a very relaxing place to be.  Accidental jibes are not relaxing or beautiful. 

Cake post

This is the cake my daughter made for a friend.  It is much better than an accidental jibe.  It is also much safer than an accidental jibe.  It probably tastes better than an accidental jibe although I never ate any of the cake and have never tasted an accidental jibe so I really wouldn't know.  But given the choice between the two of them I would definitely take the cake.  Wouldn't you???

Hermy post

This is Hermy.  He is without question much less interesting than an accidental jibe.  He is also much worse than a accidental jibe.  However he might be so bad that he is the cause of any accidental jibe that occurs.  He was given to me as a gift and has brought great entertainment to my entire family. If you squeeze his hand he starts singing his song from his movie.  I am quite certain that his song was inspired by an accidental jibe.  

Tower post

Over the weekend the boy scouts were building towers using poles and rope lashing.  I don't know if this is as interesting as an accidental jibe or not.  It may or may not be better than an accidental jibe.  It is definitely more dangerous than an accidental jibe.  Perhaps this has more to do with accidental than it does with jibe.  I wonder if it was accidental that someone came up with this idea in the first place.  If you don't know what a jibe is can you have an accidental one? Why the heck do they call it a jibe?

4th of the 4th

This is my 4th of the 4th.  It is a photo of the cake my wife made for my sons b-day.  I thought we were just having fresh trout for dinner but the meat was too dark for trout and definitely too sweet.  All of the decorating was done with only frosting.  I am glad I did not make it.  It would have looked like road kill trout (whatever that looks like).
